“And David sent and proposed to Abigail, to take her as his wife.” 1 Samuel 25:39b. Jesus Christ invites every one of us to join our spirit to His Spirt to marry ourselves to Him. “When I passed by you again and looked upon you, indeed your time was the time of love; so I spread My wing over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine,” says the Lord God.” Ezekiel 16:8
“When the servants of David had come to Abigail at Carmel, they spoke to her saying, “David sent us to you, to ask you to become his wife.” 1 Samuel 25:40 The marriage proposal sent to us is the Gospel of Christ. As His messengers, Jesus sends us to share His Gospel so that the whosoever are given the proposal to be married to His Spirit, “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15
Today, the marriage proposal of the human spirit to the Spirit of Christ has been prohibited. We live in a world which hardens the spirit of humanity to build a wall against God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. The Gospel message has been removed from the churches, removed from government law-making, removed from the educational system, and removed from every sector of society. The thing which forms what we think, feel, and do wants to be married to us to enable the image of the beast to speak and live through us. As it speaks and lives through a person they are conformed to their place in life, their mark in life, they are groomed to the mark of the beast.
“…it opposes and exalts itself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that it sits as God in the temple of God, showing itself that it is God.2 Thessalonians 2:4
“Then she arose, bowed her face to the earth, and said, “Here is your maidservant, a servant to wash the feet of the servants of my lord.” 1 Samuel 25:41 We offer ourselves into the service of Jesus Christ. Our devotion to Jesus should be as stated here, “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. May the Lord do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you.” Ruth 16:16-17
“So Abigail rose in haste and rode on a donkey, attended by five of her maidens; and she followed the messengers of David, and became his wife.” 1 Samuel 25:42 We humbly follow the messengers of Jesus Christ, which includes every person who made the Holy Bible possible. We follow the groundwork set by the Twelve Apostles who are the twelve foundations of the New Jerusalem. We follow the open door of the “scarlet cord” written through the Twelve Tribes of Israel who are the twelve gates of the New Jerusalem. We also follow every other messenger of the Gospel of Christ.
Through the word of God and Holy Spirit, we become married to the Spirit of Jesus Christ. As written, “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
“David also took Ahinoam of Jezreel, and so both of them were his wives.” 1 Samuel 25:43 When Jesus Christ came, He made His proposal of marriage to the Jewish people and also to the non-Jewish people. He married us both to Him by the New Covenant which says whoever believes in Him will be saved. We are His people by the covenant made through Abraham, and Isaac and Jacob (Israel). That covenant is that whoever believes in Him will be saved.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
