14-Year-Old Girl Shot in Yoctangee Park in Chillicothe

I was born and raised in Chillicothe, and I have many fond memories in Yoctangee Park. I fished in the lake, spoke my testimony for Jesus Christ through a portable speaker and microphone there, and remember all of the festivals and 4th of July events in the park. I’m a Baby Boomer, so my days in the park as a 14-year-old is very much different than nowadays. Nowadays, Yoctangee is not fit for “Rated G” activity.

Psalms 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
² He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.

It’s a shame that with all the power the thing has over feelings, emotions, behaviors, and thoughts, they are doing nothing to lead these kids into green pastures and still waters. In fact, they mow the grass and dam the waters to force adherence to a society rooted in the mark of the beast. In a day when Jesus Christ is the One able to lead us into green pastures and beside still waters, He is being shot down.

³ He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.

The kids need a restoration of childlikeness, to be children again where the soul is filled with innocence and playfulness. Jesus Christ is the only One who can restore our soul by the remission of sin and to bring us into Holiness. Holiness enables us to feel sorrow for all the ugliness of our soul and all the ugly actions in this world today.

⁴ Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Death is all around us nowadays, violence is everywhere, it’s in the schools, in the homes, in the city parks, by the lakes, everywhere. The lies of calling the society of the mark of the beast a “democratic” society is like calling the callousness of killing of the unborn “Reproductive Rights.” As followers of Jesus Christ, we have been warned these days were coming, and they will get worse. The global government of the beast is not the answer to solve the violence, it is only the start of the tribulation that they bring. Even so, we live in the Spirit of Christ, and through Him we have peace, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27

⁵ You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.

The enemies are those who govern by the thing that forms what a person thinks, feels, and does, which provokes chaos as well as synchronizes to the mark of the beast. They detest belief in God, discard the need for the remission of sin through Jesus, and trample on the Holy Spirit. They have no concern for human life of any age, not the unborn, not toddlers, not 14-year-olds, not the elderly, none. Among them, we are anointed with the Holy Spirit, and our cup runs over with Holiness. We come apart from them as we reject the “democratic” society of the mark of the beast.

⁶ Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.

The goodness of God’s grace, mercy, and Holy Spirit will be with us all the days of our life. The goodness and righteousness of this world is filthy compared to the Holiness of God through Jesus Christ. Through Jesus we have eternal life, and every child should be raised knowing this, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A juvenile has been shot in Yoctangee Park in Chillicothe, Ohio, and the suspect is currently at large. Police and EMS personnel are currently on the scene.

According to witnesses, the shooting occurred around 6:30 pm. The victim’s identity has not yet been released, but authorities have confirmed that the victim is a 14-year-old female juvenile. The victim’s condition is currently unknown.

The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a silver car, and police are currently searching for the vehicle. The identity of the suspect is also currently unknown.

A medical helicopter has been requested for the victim.
