How A Person Sees the Light of Christ says a Lot About Their Mind and Heart

“No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a secret place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, that those who come in may see the light.” Luke 11:33 The light that has been lit in us comes from the Light of the World, Jesus Christ. We want our light to shine so that everyone can see the Spirit of Christ. How people react to seeing the light depends on what is in their mind and heart, “The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is evil, your body also is full of darkness.” Luke 11:34

People who are receptive to the Gospel of Jesus Christ has a good heart and are full of light. However, some people see the light of Christ and have bad intentions, which reveals the dark evil within them. That describes the people of today who live by the mark of the beast. The light in them is darkness because they oppose God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. They use the light of uncanny knowledge and heightened intuition to blaspheme, ridicule, mock, and belittle the people of God. “Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness.” Luke 11:35 Their light comes from the thing that has power over physiology which forms what they feel, think, and do.

When we devote our body to be the home of the Holy Spirit, we are filled with light, as said here, “If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light.” Luke 11:36 With our eyes, we see how the world responds to believing God, how they respond to the need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ, and how they react to the Holy Spirit. We are given the bright shining light through the Spirit of Jesus Christ, and it is part of the discernment we live by.

The light of Christ gives us direction along the path of this Christless world, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalms 119:105 His light gives us direction by discerning the intents of the heart, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews 4:12-13

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
