Support in the Process of Sanctification. Today, the followers of Jesus Christ are scattered and kept separate from one another. The body of Christ has been hacked to pieces by the masses in society that lives by the mark of the beast. The churches are not even a gathering place for those who uphold the testimony of Jesus Christ. The hostilities are constant which come through ridicule, mocking, and shame. Many of God’s people may become weary in living for the teachings of Jesus Christ, “Therefore, strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet.” Hebrews 12:12 If we run across a person who is discouraged and near to losing faith, let’s lift them up in the name of Jesus Christ, where there is hope for eternal life and for the return of Jesus. We can be set apart in this world with a heart full of hope and happiness. Let’s encourage and strengthen others through the eternal testimony of Jesus Christ. We do not want to lose anyone who are overcome with despair and hopelessness, so we share the Gospel “so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.” Hebrews 12:13 Let our behavior be a testimony whenever we are among others, to set an example of individual faith in God when the masses oppose everything about us.

Obtain Peace and Holiness.
Peace and Holiness are very much different than peace and the mark of the beast, as Jesus Christ says, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27 The world promises peace by establishing a global “democracy” which makes war against the testimony of Jesus Christ, but “Destruction comes; They will seek peace, but there shall be none.” Ezekiel 7:25

In these turbulent times there is a lot of conflict between each other, and the Holy Spirit says to us, “Pursue peace with all people, and Holiness, without which no one will see the Lord,” Hebrews 12:14 Our sanctification includes being gracious when there are so many ungracious attitudes hurled at us, let’s live worthy of the grace that God has shown towards us, “looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God.” Many people rub us the wrong way all the time, which can include many things, such as tampering with food, making us feel insecure with anxiety and vengeance, creating conflict in relationships, belittling us, and keeping us from being the person we really want to be. The Holy Spirit encourages us to pursue peace and Holiness, “lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled,” Hebrews 12:15

There will not be peace in this present world, not through a global “democracy,” and not through the thing that has power over physiology to form our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. The mark of the beast, which wears the clothing of humanism, cannot bring peace because it rejects the Deity of Jesus Christ and tramples on the Holy Spirit. The peace it proposes is based on possessions, money, sensual benefits, force, power, human support, and human love. It establishes the human body as its seat of government instead of recognizing the soul as the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Do Not Sell Out for Human Gratification. Esau represents all of those who choose the benefits of the flesh over the inheritance of eternal life that we have through Jesus Christ. They are the masses of today who clamor for the right to kill unborn children, to embrace same-sex marriages, and behaviors that mocks the teachings of the Bible. The Holy Spirit encourages us to follow peace and Holiness, “lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright,Hebrews 12:16 They are those who choose to live by the mark of the beast to gain possessions, money, sensual benefits, authority, and human love. Those are the ones who will be refused entry into the New Jerusalem as they try so desperately to usher in their earthly utopia through the global “democracy.” Like Esau, this is said about the Christless masses of today, “For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected.” When the Holy Spirit is rejected, who brings us to Jesus Christ and enables us to pursue Holiness and peace, there is nowhere to turn for Salvation, “for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears,” Hebrews 12:17

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
