  • Choosing the Holy Spirit over the flesh is necessary.
  • We need to be set apart from the Christless lifestyles of the flesh.

  • We are judged according to life in the flesh.
  • The warmth of the Christ’s Spirit is in the flesh but not present in sinless human robots.

Choosing the Holy Spirit over the flesh is necessary. Jesus Christ was human, suffered in the human body as we do, and put away sin when He was crucified on the Cross. We live in a flesh and blood body, but through Christ we have quit living for the lusts of the flesh. We devote our body to be the home of the Holy Spirit. “Since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.” 1 Peter 4:1-2 At the same time, there is a thing in this world that wants to crucify our humanness to make us live by the thoughts, emotions, feelings, and behaviors that it imposes on us. While it claims to be eliminating unrestrained fleshly lusts, those thoughts and feelings are filled with sin because it blasphemes God, rejects the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ, and tramples on the Holy Spirit. It thrives on making the human body a Christless flesh and blood robot that is impervious to sin.

We need to be set apart from the Christless lifestyles of the flesh. There is no doubt that the lust of the flesh is responsible for more deaths, crime, and inhumanities than we could ever imagine. It’s important for us to be set part from fleshly desires so that we do not become trapped in lifestyles that lead to destructive consequences. That is part of our sanctification as we live for Jesus Christ. Many will try to entice us into Christless lifestyles, and they are very cute, friendly, convincing, and even seem appropriate. They will also ridicule us for not participating and make us feel out of place, “For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you.”1 Peter 4:3-4 Those who govern by the mark of the beast, in the name of humanism, are stamping out those lifestyles and people are “dropping like flies” by participating in those activities. Many deaths are caused by the ones who have a form of Godliness but reject the Deity of Jesus Christ.

Sinless flesh-and-blood human robots are created while discarding Jesus Christ. Those who govern by the mark of the beast claim that the power over physiology is to put an end to human lusts and sin. Their global democracy is rooted in that belief. They require everyone to live by their thoughts, emotions, feelings, and behaviors to control human passions. That’s like saying the image of the human robot below is without lusts and sin. The only difference between us and the robot is that we are flesh and blood. In the same way that the robot in the picture below has no capacity for the Holy Spirit, those who discard the need for Jesus Christ are eliminating the human body as the home of the Holy Spirit. This is the fulfillment of prophecy as mentioned in Revelation 13:18 concerning calculating the number of the beast which is the number of the person. It is also the fulfillment of prophecy relating to the establishment of the global government in Revelation 17.

We are judged according to life in the flesh. Everyone who rejects Jesus Christ and governs or lives by the mark of the beast will give an account to God. He is ready to judge the living and the dead. A person can’t be any more dead to Jesus Christ than the robot in the above picture, but flesh and blood human robots are just as dead to Christ. The Gospel of Jesus has been given to the dead so that they are judged according to life in the flesh. The hope is for them to live according to God in the Spirit. We know the end of all things are here by the presence of the mark of the beast and the flesh and blood human robots it creates. “They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.” 1 Peter 4:5-7

The warmth of the Christ’s Spirit is in the flesh but not present in sinless human robots. God’s love is in the Spirit and exists only through the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ. The love of God is not present in the humanoid robot as seen in the picture above nor in flesh and blood human robots. As followers of Jesus Christ, the love we possess covers a multitude of sin so let’s be humane towards each other in the Spirit of Christ, “And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.” Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the utterances of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:8-11

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
