The scripture in this post urges us to avoid the teaching of humanism,  Do not be carried about with…strange doctrines…good that the heart be established by gracenot with foods…” There is also the advisory to separate from the churches like Jesus Christ did, “Jesus also, that He might set apart the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp.” Humanism and the churches are the “two horns like a lamb” spoken about here, “Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.” Revelation 13:11

These verses remind us at the beginning and at the end to remember those who lead through Jesus Christ. Those are the people who share the Gospel by declaring,

  • Christ’s death on the Cross for the atonement of sin.
  • Christ’s resurrection after being dead for three days.
  • Christ’s ascension into Heaven.
  • Eternal life for all believers.

This world wants us to buy into an earthly utopia which they call the global democracy, but the only promised land to be obtained is the New Jerusalem which comes through Jesus Christ, “For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come.” We are reminded to avoid the teachings of humanism, empowered by the mark of the beast, and to embrace the message of this verse, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

CONTEXT OF THIS POST

  • Remember those Who Lead through Jesus Christ.
  • Avoid the Teachings Centered around Humanism.
  • Separate from the Churches as Jesus Christ Did.
  • There is no Global “Democracy” We Expect the New Jerusalem.
  • Always Remember those Who Lead through Jesus Christ.

Remember those Who Lead through Jesus Christ.

“Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow,
considering the outcome of their conduct. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. ”
Hebrews 13:7-8

Those who lead us by the Word of God are those who glorify the name of Jesus Christ, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14 The best leaders that we have are those mentioned within the Bible, including the Apostles, the writers of the Gospels, the Prophets of the Old Testament, everyone mentioned in Hebrews 11 etc. In other words, it is best to be ruled by the Bible which is inspired by the Holy Spirit. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit is always the same, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” The teachings of Jesus Christ do not change to adapt to the changing times, the changing times are adapting to the prophecies that speak about this world’s future.

Avoid the Teachings Centered around Humanism.

Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace,
not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.”
Hebrews 13:9

Humanism is a strange doctrine that discards grace through Jesus Christ and attends only to human needs, such as food. Here is a definition of humanism, “An outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.” The Holy Spirit warns us not to be part of that strange doctrine.

Separate from the Churches as Jesus Christ Did.

“We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.
For the bodies of those animals, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin,
are burned outside the camp.
Therefore Jesus also, that He might set apart the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.
Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.”
Hebrews 13:10-13

Our body is the Church of the Holy Spirit, and those who serve in the human made churches have no right to come into that Holy place, “We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.” The reason they have no right to have communion with the Holy Spirit is because they have adopted the strange doctrine of humanism which is empowered by the mark of the beast. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are to set ourselves apart from the ways of the world, which is to be set apart from the “community family” frame of mind. The churches have thrown themselves into a partnership with community affairs, while discarding the divine message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The beasts’ “two horns like a lamb” of humanism and the churches have caused much suffering for those who choose to serve Jesus Christ. They have blood on their hands of innocent and decent human beings. Jesus Christ chose to suffer outside of the human made churches, and those who choose God through Jesus also suffer outside the churches. In that way, we are set apart to be the Church of God infilled by the Holy Spirit, “Therefore Jesus also, that He might set apart the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.” When we come to Jesus Christ, we become the Church of the Holy Spirit and He is the minister of the Church. Our service to God through Jesus Christ is from outside the churches, “Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.”

There is no Global “Democracy” and We Expect the New Jerusalem.

“For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come.
Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is,
the fruit of our lips, confessing His name.
But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.”
Hebrews 13:14-16

The protests, riots, or demonstrations heard around the world are for one purpose, to usher in the global “democracy,” which is their “continuing city.” They are coercing changes to laws, cultures, and constitutions to establish one constitution for the world, which governs through the mark of the beast. In the process, government leaders make everything sound very churchy with words like love, support, fairness, democracy, family, peace, tolerance, etc. Once again, the “two horns like a lamb” of the beast is seen as being the strange doctrine of humanism and the churches. They are seeking heaven on earth, but the followers of Jesus Christ are looking to the new heaven and earth within the New Jerusalem, “For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come.

While we live in this beguiled, misguided, and Godless world, we will continue to lift up the name of Jesus as Lord and Savior, “Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, confessing His name.” In today’s world, it is easily seen that God is cursed and Jesus Christ is discarded, but from the lips of the faithful few there is praise to God in the name of Jesus. The love of many has become cold, but let’s not be hateful, cruel, and uncaring to others. Every day I hear mean-spirited words and experience agitating behaviors from others, but the Holy Spirit says this, “But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.” At least I can return a blessing of kind words when I run across rude and hateful behavior filled with malintent.

The last time I was in Kroger’s to shop, a lady had me to reach for a product on the very top shelf and all the way to the back, the very last two. There were several other brands fully stocked and easily reachable, but because she read my t-shirt, “Normal Isn’t Coming Back, Jesus Is. Revelation 14.” she wanted to use me. My only response to her was, “You’re welcome,” even though I knew I was being despitefully used.

Always Remember those Who Lead through Jesus Christ.

“Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.”
Hebrews 13:17

Once again, the followers of Jesus Christ are reminded to abide by the Word of God and to the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As the Church of the Holy Spirit, I must always obey Jesus Christ who is the head over me. He watches over my soul and makes intercessory for me in the presence of God. When I enter through the gates of the New Jerusalem, I want to hear Jesus say, “Well done good and faithful servant.” To grieve Jesus Christ would be unprofitable and leads to eternal torment in the burning lake of fire.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
