New Culture Puts Down Helpful Deeds that Brings People to Christ

Acts 9:32-43

The woman spoken about in this post is a follower of the way of Jesus Christ. She is a kind and helpful person who is charitable to the poor. Her name is translated into the Hebrew language as Tabitha and the Hellenistic (Greek) language as Dorcas. When her death is talked about, the name of Dorcas is used, which comes from the new Hellenistic (Greek) culture. When her resurrection is talked about, the name Tabitha is used, which comes from the traditional Hebrew culture. That is how it is today. The new culture that functions through the mark of the beast puts to death kind and helpful deeds to thwart the growth of the body of Christ. Whereas the traditional culture, rooted in Godly heritage of Jesus Christ, believes for the resurrection.

The book of Acts begins talking about the split culture in Acts chapter 6:1. It specifically states the clash between the Hellenistic Jews and the Greek Jews. The Hellenistic Jews broke off from the traditional Hebrew Jews to adopt the Greek language and culture. The New Testament is written in the Greek language and the Old Testament in the Hebrew language. Today, there is only one book, the Bible, which consists of the Hebrew Old Testament and the Greek New Testament. Unfortunately, the split culture between those who live for the mark of the beast and those who hold to the testimony of Jesus Christ has irreconcilable differences.

  • Walking in Jesus Christ turns Many to the Lord.
  • Death of Charitable and Helpful Deeds Within Divided Culture.
  • In Name of New Culture is the Death of Charitable Deeds in Christ.
  • In Name of Godly Traditional Culture comes the Resurrection.

Walking in Jesus Christ turns Many to the Lord.
I remember when there was freedom to move around to visit those who lived for the testimony of Jesus Christ. Some might say, “What’s stopping you now?” I would have to reply that there are very few people who live for Jesus Christ nowadays in a way that invites Christian fellowship. In those days of vibrant interaction between fellow Believers, there was a lot of encouragement, prayer, and strengthening each other in the name of Jesus. We encouraged each other to continue walking in the way of Christ, to keep a prayer in the heart, to read Scripture, and to share the Gospel. We definitely kept each other from becoming paralyzed in the walk to the Promised Land. Seeing people turn to the Lord was a common occurrence.

Peter went to visit God’s people and came across a man who had been paralyzed for eight years. That would be a long time to be bedridden. From doing visitation in nursing homes, before it became prohibited by policy, I met people who were bedridden. Many were obviously angry, frustrated, and near the point of hopelessness to be considered a death bed case. When Peter came across a paralyzed and bedridden man he said, “Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and roll up your mat.” I know those lying in their beds in the nursing home would love to have that hope and attention from Holy Spirit filled people.

I remember how much residents in nursing homes appreciated the fellowship with Believers, it brought them alive to Jesus Christ. When Peter said, “Jesus Christ heals you,” the man immediately got up. I imagine he walked with Christ all the way into the New Jerusalem. I know many in nursing homes would be encouraged to enter the Promised Land while hearing the words, “Jesus Christ heals you.” When others in the surrounding areas saw the man that Peter healed, they too turned to the Lord.

“As Peter traveled about the country, he went to visit the Lord’s people who lived in Lydda.
There he found a man named Aeneas, who was paralyzed
and had been bedridden for eight years.
“Aeneas,” Peter said to him,
“Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and roll up your mat.”
Immediately Aeneas got up.
All those who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.”
Acts 9:32-35

Death of Charitable and Helpful Deeds Within Divided Culture.
The woman talked about here was a follower of Jesus Christ who was always doing good and helping the poor. During that time, there was a division between the Hellenistic Jews who broke off from the traditional Hebrew culture. The Hellenistic Jews adopted the Greek culture while rejecting the Hebrew culture which was rooted in the Old Testament. The woman became sick during that time and died. She was known by two names, Tabitha by the traditional Hebrew culture and Dorcas by the Greek culture. This is exactly equal to the division between the “right wing” who clings to Godly foundations, and the “left wing” progressives who do not.

Today’s world is divided into two cultures exactly like when Tabitha/Dorcas was living on earth. The one culture is the new generation that is living by the inner presence of the mark of the beast. That culture is killing the goodness and helpfulness that comes through the name of Jesus Christ. They do not want the poor helped by anyone but those who serve the mark of the beast. They aggressively impede the ability of others to come to God through Jesus. The other culture is determined to hold to the Godly heritage of the US Constitution and to maintain faith in the Word of God. Many people who were doing good and helping the needy in the name of Jesus Christ has died in the culture war. Cities around the world are dominated by those who are aggressively hostile towards the Gospel of Jesus Christ, they trample on the Holy Spirit, and mock God. They are killing those who want to do good and want to help the needy find Christ. Like Tabitha/Dorcas, their “body was washed and placed in an upstairs room.”

“In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (in Greek her name is Dorcas);
she was always doing good and helping the poor.
About that time, she became sick and died,
and her body was washed and placed in an upstairs room.”
Acts 9″36-37

In Name of New Culture is the Death of Charitable Deeds.
Today, those who follow the way of Jesus Christ are beginning to call to God, “Please come at once!” The hands of God’s people are tied, feet bound, the heart filled with pain, and the mind taking a browbeating. Those who govern by the mark of the beast are afflicting Christians in thoughts and emotions while externally restricting where we go and what we do. The new culture of those who live by the mark of the beast, are causing the death of good deeds and helpfulness that are done in the name of Jesus Christ. In the presence of Jesus Christ, His followers are in prayer, crying and making known the deaths of people who were filled with kind and helpful deeds. When the digital dollar comes in full force, it will completely eliminate charitable giving through finances, and anything bought with money.

Dorcas is the name used when referring to the death of the kind-hearted woman full of good works. Dorcas represents the culture that broke off from the traditional culture rooted in the established Scripture of that day, the Old Testament. The Holy Spirit inspired Scripture is associating the new culture with the death of the kind-hearted follower of Jesus Christ. When the kind-hearted woman died, the other Believers called for Peter, “Please come at once!” When Peter arrived, they showed all the good works that she was doing in the name of Jesus.

“Lydda was near Joppa; so, when the disciples heard that Peter was in Lydda,
they sent two men to him and urged him,
“Please come at once!”
Peter went with them, and when he arrived, he was taken upstairs to the room.
All the widows stood around him, crying and showing him the robes
and other clothing that Dorcas had made while she was still with them.”
Acts 9:38-39

In Name of Godly Traditional Culture comes Resurrection.
The resurrection is reserved for those who hold to the Godly heritage founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The new culture that governs and lives by the mark of the beast will have no part in eternal life. There is a huge difference between the “right wing” Godly heritage and the “left wing” Godless culture. When the kind-hearted woman was resurrected from the dead, the name Tabitha was used, which is the traditional name rooted in the Old Testament Scripture of that day. It’s the Holy Spirit’s way of telling us that within our Godly heritage is where the resurrection to eternal life is found, not in the new culture that rejects Jesus Christ. Jesus will turn to all those who have died living for Him and will say, “Get up!” And we will open our eyes, see Jesus, and stand up on the streets of gold in the New Jerusalem. We will be presented to all Believers and presented alive together in the Paradise of God.

When the time of the resurrection comes, all those who have rejected Jesus Christ will be sent out of the room. Just like what Peter did before the resurrection of Tabitha, “Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed.” In the name of the culture established in the original Hebrew Scripture, in the name of God, Peter says, “Tabitha, get up.” Peter helped her up, “Then, he called for the Believers, especially the widows, and presented her to them alive.”

“Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed.
Turning toward the dead woman, he said,
“Tabitha, get up.”
She opened her eyes and seeing Peter she sat up.
He took her by the hand and helped her to her feet.
Then he called for the Believers, especially the widows,
and presented her to them alive.”
Acts 9:40-41

Miracles of Holy Spirit Leads to New Believers.
All over the world, divisions exist between traditional heritage and the progressive cultural changes rooted in the mark of the beast. In the United States, it is starkly clear that it is a division between the Godly foundations rooted in the US Constitution, and those pushing for a global constitution rooted in the mark of the beast. Christianity is grouped within the category known as the “right wing,” and those living by the mark of the beast grouped in the category known as the “left wing” progressives. All around the world, people are turning to the Bible because of what is written in the Book of Daniel and Revelation 13. That is happening even as the world is dominated by those who live for the mark of the beast. The faithful few, who hold to the testimony of Jesus Christ, are scattered in places around the world. As the global tribulation progresses forward, the faithful few will remain in Jesus Christ.

There is a simple message to be made known, the miracle of the resurrection into eternal life comes through the Godly heritage where Jesus Christ is found. There is only eternal torment for the inhabitants of the new world order who reject Jesus Christ.

“This became known all over Joppa, and many people believed in the Lord.
Peter stayed in Joppa for some time with a tanner named Simon.”
Acts 9:42-43

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:11
