To Receive or not to Receive

Matthew 7:7-12

One thing separates the giving done by Jesus Christ and the giving done by those living by the mark of the beast. That one thing is how it affects human sentimentality and the Spirit of Jesus Christ. The human robots give in a way that draws a person to them and away from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Or their giving is designed to fuel a lifestyle that is destructive and tends to shorten a life. When Jesus Christ gives, it is to enhance human qualities filled with His Spirit. The giving done by one will lead to eternal torment, and the giving done by the other leads to eternal life. Be careful who you ask from, be careful what you look for, and be careful whose door you are knocking on.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So, in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:7-12
