Rebellion Grows and is Destroyed

Ezekiel 31

This chapter describes the growth of rebellion and its destruction. The international community that governs by the internal government puts down all forms of rebellion. They do not tolerate any government, powers, nor religions that makes itself greater than the society of human robots. If the mark of the beast is refused, then those who refuse will not have any prosperity nor growth. It will progress into global tribulation, persecution, and death.

Growth of Rebellion
The rebellious nation exalts itself above God and His Son Jesus Christ.

This chapter describes the growth and reach that the rebellious nation has while it is not in compliance to the global authority. This is the same nation that God’s people, the church, turned to when they decided to rebel against the world government. The rebellion came because God’s people are not going to tolerate the terrarium in which they are placed. Their reach and their growth are not allowed to supersede the authority of the international power base. That is described in Ezekiel 17. This chapter describes the type of growth that the rebellious nation has. They are willing to take in rebels against the global authority, and they grow, and grow, and grow. But still, they are not powerful enough to defeat the international power. They are brought down by the global authority.

“It was majestic in beauty, with its spreading boughs, for its roots went down to abundant waters. The cedars in the garden of God could not rival it, nor could the junipers equal its boughs, nor could the plane trees compare with its branches—no tree in the garden of God could match its beauty. I made it beautiful with abundant branches, the envy of all the trees of Eden in the garden of God.” Ezekiel 31:7-9

The rebellious nation is under God’s judgment through the international government, for forming a failed alliance of rebellion with God’s people. Rebellion violates the Spirit of Jesus Christ, and it is not to be done. Jesus Christ is not the leader of a rebellion, and His followers are not rebels. We live by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and carry our cross daily, even throughout the persecution during the global tribulation. We choose Jesus Christ over the mark of the beast to the end.

Destruction of Rebellion
The global power does not allow any country, state, city, nor person to dominate its society of human robots. If there is growth in any sector outside the internal government of the mark of the beast, it will be brought down. In today’s world, everything is tightly intertwined which doesn’t allow any room at all for independent nations. It relates very closely to economics, religion, politics and military. It’s a government that declares itself to be greater than any form of government and more powerful than any form of religion. It does not tolerate opposition to its global society of human robots in any way, shape, or form.

“‘Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because the great cedar towered over the thick foliage, and because it was proud of its height, I gave it into the hands of the ruler of the nations, for him to deal with according to its wickedness. I cast it aside, and the most ruthless of foreign nations cut it down and left it. Its boughs fell on the mountains and in all the valleys; its branches lay broken in all the ravines of the land. All the nations of the earth came out from under its shade and left it'” Ezekiel 31:10-12

Eternal Rewards and Punishment
It is always a losing proposition to choose rebellion over the Spirit of Jesus Christ. Rebellion will be crushed, but also the international community that governs by the internal government will be crushed as well. The end result for choosing rebellion, or the mark of the beast, over Jesus Christ is eternal punishment. Those who choose Jesus Christ will rejoice in the New Jerusalem.

“I made the nations tremble at the sound of its fall when I brought it down to the realm of the dead to be with those who go down to the pit. Then all the trees of Eden, the choicest and best of Lebanon, the well-watered trees, were consoled in the earth below.” Ezekiel 31:16
