The Useless Church

Ezekiel 15

The Useless Church
The church is useless relating to the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and its ability to oppose the mark of the beast.

The uselessness of the church relates to its sense of self-importance. They feel like they are the meat in the pot with their “hip” community network. By the influence of the internal government, they have a community presence sitting in places with power and authority. Every local community has a coalition of churches that collaborates with city goals. Also, the church is a witness to healing powers and the power over life and death. That combination is the source of liveliness, youthfulness, and feeling healthy. They feel emboldened in their “hip” practices because no one can come against it without coming against the whole government network. The description above relates to Revelation 13.

The church is a useless vine.

“The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, how is the wood of a vine different from that of a branch from any of the trees in the forest? Is wood ever taken from it to make anything useful? Do they make pegs from it to hang things on? And after it is thrown on the fire as fuel and the fire burns both ends and chars the middle, is it then useful for anything? If it was not useful for anything when it was whole, how much less can it be made into something useful when the fire has burned it and it is charred?” Ezekiel 15:1-5

Desolation of the Useless Church
The following is why God is setting His face against the church; It discards the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The church revolves around blasphemy by blaspheming the church, the mission of Jesus Christ, God’s Word, and those in Heaven. They oppose those who have a testimony of Jesus and is able to overcome those whose name is not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Although it presents itself as a lamb, behind all the whitewash is a dragon. Their mission has turned away from bringing people to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and their new mission is secular.

The church is destined for the eternal fires.

“Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: As I have given the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest as fuel for the fire, so will I treat the people living in Jerusalem. I will set my face against them. Although they have come out of the fire, the fire will yet consume them. And when I set my face against them, you will know that I am the Lord. I will make the land desolate because they have been unfaithful, declares the Sovereign Lord.” Ezekiel 15:6-8
