The Faithful Witnesses & 7th Trumpet

Revelation 11

Chapter eleven is letting us know the course that the followers of Jesus Christ are on. It begins with the churches falling away from the Gospel Message and embracing the mark of the beast, which functions through the thing that has power over physiology and is able to form thoughts, emotions, feelings, and behaviors. It ends with eternal life in the new heaven and new earth of the New Jerusalem. Presently, we followers of Jesus Christ are empowered with the Holy Spirit to share the Gospel of Jesus, but even now God is blasphemed, the need for Jesus is discarded, and the Holy Spirit is trampled on. A day comes when the power center of the beast, as in the mark of the beast, plunges into darkness and it no longer functions. All of the uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, extraordinary skills, amazing physical feats and accomplishments, etc. no longer exists.

During the blackout of the power center of the mark of the beast, swarms around the world bring torment to everyone without God’s seal on the forehead, which means those who were governing by and living for the mark of the beast are being severely tormented. Christians are spared that torment, but a global war breaks out which is known as Armageddon. During that global war, the faithful witnesses of Jesus Christ are mercilessly slaughtered, and their bodies are left to rot in the streets. After this time, Jesus resurrects and calls all of His people to be with Him, and they live with him for 1000 years on this earth. That is 1000 years without Satan, the beast, and the second beast (false prophet). Satan is locked away and the other two have been thrown into the death of the lake of fire. After those 1000 years, Satan is also thrown into the lake of fire, then the judgment of everyone comes, and after the judgment the new heaven and new earth comes. That is when we enter the eternal city of the New Jerusalem to live with Jesus Christ forever.

Measuring the Church

Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

The last time that the churches were measured is in Revelation chapters two and three. They have left the Gospel of Jesus Christ and those remaining faithful to Christ are slandered and persecuted. During the whole time that the mark of the beast is on this earth, “42 months,” the followers of Christ are trampled on, “the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.” That also includes the nation of Israel, who have been trampled on since about the beginning of their existence in 1948. In the churches, the testimony of Christ has been thoroughly corrupted as they choose to live by “Satan’s secret knowledge,” which is the mark of the beast (It endows people with uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, etc.) Although the churches are lively, full of activity, and wealthy, they are dead to Christ and wretched. Those who are faithful to Christ are few in number and have little strength. The rest of the world are unbelievers, and they follow the beast, as in mark of the beast, “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb.” Revelation 13:8 These are those who trample on the Holy Spirit, blaspheme God, and discard the need for Jesus Christ.

“42 months” is the amount of time that the system exists that governs by the inner presence of the mark of the beast. “The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months.” Revelation 13:5

“And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying,
Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
But the court, which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles:
and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.”
Revelation 11:1-2

The Faithful Witnesses are Given Power to Share the Word of God.

“And I will give power unto my two witnesses,
and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

“For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Revelation 19:10 Revelation 13:5 says the mark of the beast will exist in the world for “42 months,” which is “1260 days”, which is exactly how long the faithful witnesses are proclaiming the testimony of Jesus with mourning in their heart. The faithful witnesses are those who are slandered, persecuted, and have little strength in a Christless world. Their mourning heart comes from seeing how God is blasphemed, Jesus Christ is tossed aside, and the Holy Spirit is trampled on. Since about the time immediately after WW2, the mark of the beast came into existence with the New World Order. Christianity and those who govern by the mark of beast have existed mournfully together ever since. Likewise, the Jewish nation has been afflicted since its establishment in 1948. Today in 2022, severe conflict exists between the “right wing” (which includes Christianity) and the Christless global agenda of the “left wing”. The tip of the iceberg is seen referring to the suffering of God’s people who are given the power to prophecy for “1260 days,” or “42 months.”

The description of the witnesses is given in this verse, “These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.” The candlesticks represent the two Churches, and the two olive trees represent an anointing to serve Jesus Christ. The Church is every Believer because we are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we make up the body of Christ. We are anointed to serve God by sharing the testimony of Jesus Christ. The faithful witnesses lift up the name of Jesus but have little strength while suffering hardship. Even today, we are scattered all around the world suffering various types of afflictions. If anyone hurts the faithful few witnesses, they respond defensively with the fiery tongue of the Holy Spirit, “And if any man will hurt them, fire proceeds out of their mouth, and devours their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.” There is no physical violence coming from the followers of Jesus Christ, but while they are alive on this earth, they are able to make things difficult on the Christless system of government, “These have power to shut heaven, that it rains not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.”

“And I will give power unto my two witnesses,
and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
And if any man will hurt them, fire proceeds out of their mouth, and devours their enemies:
and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
These have power to shut heaven, that it rains not in the days of their prophecy:
and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.”
Revelation 11:3-6

Church of Smyrna Witness One Revelation 2:8-11……………Represents those faithful to Christ in times of tribulation and poverty.
Church of Philadelphia Witness Two Revelation 3:7-13……Represents those faithful to Christ who have a little strength during the government of those who operate through the mark of the beast.

The two witnesses are the two Churches, which is a symbolic way of the Holy Spirit speaking to us today. He is letting us know that the faithful few witnesses are all of those around the world who exists during the time when the people of the world have become the seat of government for the mark of the beast. That is describing this year 2022. Along with the majority living for the mark of the beast, the faithful few are facing tribulation and poverty. Still, we are anointed with oil to continually serve God and to lift up the name of Jesus.

Death of the Faithful Witnesses.

“Now when they have finished their testimony,
the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them and overpower and kill them.”
Revelation 11:7

The severe persecution of outright slaughter of Christ’s faithful witnesses takes place around the very last “3 1/2” days of this earth’s existence. That is verified by this verse, “Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them and overpower and kill them.” The abyss is also spoken about during the Fifth Trumpet when a swarm was released on the Christless earth to torment without causing death. They are commanded not to hurt those who have God’s seal on their forehead, which would be the faithful followers of Jesus Christ. This happens near to the last “five months” of the earth’s existence, “Their power was to hurt men five months.” Revelation 9:10. This also relates to the Fifth Plague where the power center of the mark of the beast is rendered powerless, “Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain.” Revelation 16:10 The thing that has power over physiology is knocked off-line and no longer functions. It is powerless to endow with heightened intuition, uncanny knowledge, extraordinary skills, amazing physical feats and accomplishments, sensual comforts, etc. This happens within the last “five months” leading up to the global war, known as Armageddon, which is spoken about in the Sixth Trumpet and Sixth Plague.

The life of the faithful witnesses is spared in the Fifth Trumpet and Fifth Plague, so their merciless slaughter happens during the Sixth Trumpet and Sixth Plague, which is the global war of Armageddon. The outright murder of God’s people happens during the global war and their bodies are left in the streets as people rejoice at their death. This is the Sixth Trumpet, “Then the sixth angel sounded… to kill a third of mankind…Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million…a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone…But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands” Revelation 9:13-20 This is the Sixth Plague, “And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.” Revelation 16:16

The return of Jesus Christ is just a few “days” away from those two events, 1) The battle of Armageddon 2) The slaughter of those who are faithful to the testimony of Jesus.

Bodies of Faithful Witnesses Lay in Streets then Called to Heaven

“And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt,
where also our Lord was crucified.

The world is one huge “Sodom” and “Egypt” in the Christless world where the global economy has collapsed, diseases plague the world, the power center of the mark of the beast has blacked out, the global war rages, violence is everywhere, etc. The bodies of the faithful witnesses lie in the midst of that global “Sodom and Egypt.” “And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and a half and shall not allow their dead bodies to be put in graves.” The people of the world, or what’s left of it, are so full of ardent vengeance against Christianity that God’s people are the scapegoat for all their misery. Their global “democracy” looks like a 10.0 earthquake has struck and their hope of an earthly utopia is gone, and for that they celebrate the death of Christians, “And they that dwell upon the earth will rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another…”

For “3 1/2” days, the bodies of the faithful witnesses from around the world will be left to rot in the streets for everyone to see. This is around the last “3 1/2” days of the existence of this present heaven and earth. At the end of those days, the faithful of Jesus Christ will be resurrected to life as Jesus calls them home, “And after three days and a half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither.” During this time, those who are still alive will rise to meet them in the air to gather with Jesus Christ, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 And the Christless people who celebrated the deaths of God’s people will see it! “And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.”

Even today, in this year 2022, the global society who lives by the inner presence of the mark of the beast couldn’t-care-less what happens to Christians nor to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They despise the faithful few who hold to the testimony of Jesus. When those faithful to Jesus Christ die, they are not given the respect of an honorable funeral. I’ve seen the disrespect at the funeral of those who lived their life in opposition to the inner presence of the mark of the beast. This Christless world does not have ordinary human sentimentality nor any sense of humanness overall.

There is basically nothing left of the world after the great tribulation, which includes the demise of the power center of the mark of the beast, the battle of Armageddon, the slaughter of the few who are faithful to Jesus Christ, and God’s people being resurrected and taken to heaven. After all of this, there is still just a few “seconds” remaining before the Seventh Trumpet blows and Jesus returns as the King of kings and Lord of lords. During that very, very, brief window of those few remaining “seconds,” it seems that some who are still left in the ruins of the earth will be able to come to God through Jesus Christ, as this verse implies, “And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted and gave glory to the God of heaven.

The “3 1/2 Days” Mentioned in the Verse Below: “3 1/2 days” are the very end days of the global tribulation. Christians exist within the system of the mark of the beast for “1260 days”. The outright public attack and killing of those who choose Jesus Christ will consist of the last “3 1/2 days” of the “1260” days. The return of Jesus Christ is around “3 1/2 days” away from the global war, Armageddon, in which God’s people are mercilessly slaughtered. During those other “1256 1/2” days it is a constant and painful emotional, mental, and physical persecution against those who live for Jesus Christ. Many Christian murders occur throughout the tribulation and even today death comes through a psychotic “lamb.” Death comes to Christians through a constant barrage of friction, conflict, hassles, swarms of “flies,” “ants,” etc.

“And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city,
which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and a half
and shall not allow their dead bodies to be put in graves.

“And they that dwell upon the earth will rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
And after three days and a half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet;
and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them,
Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.”

“And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell,
and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand:
and the remnant were affrighted and gave glory to the God of heaven.
The second woe has passed; the third woe is coming soon.
Revelation 11:8-14

The Seventh Trumpet Sounds and Christ Comes as the King of kings.

“It is done!”
The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ.”

The earthquake that occurs in the previous verses occurs simultaneously with the victory of Jesus Christ that occurs when the Seventh Trumpet blows. In fact, the Seventh Plague directly connects the earthquake with the nations of this earth being done, “Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!” And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth.” Revelation 16:17-18

This is the Seventh Trumpet, “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying,
the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign for ever and ever.” Why do the nations of this world become the nations of Jesus Christ? Because Jesus Christ, and all those who have been resurrected to be with Him, will live on this earth for 1000 years, “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or its image, and had not received its mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

During the time of the 1000 years on this earth, the beast and the second beast (false prophet) are thrown into the lake of fire, “Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.” Revelation 19:20 After the 1000 years, Satan is unleashed from his prison and thrown into the lake of fire after he tried to defeat God again, “The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” Revelation 20:10

The judgment comes after Satan, the beast, and the second beast (false prophet) are destroyed and thrown into the lake of fire, And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged.” That is also written in Revelation 20:12-13, “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before the throne of God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.”

After the judgment is over and everyone who has ever lived has been judged, then the eternal home comes down from heaven. When heaven opens, this present heaven and earth will be completely done away with, “And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of His testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.” The ark of His testament is the promise of Salvation and eternal life for all those who believe Jesus Christ. Those whose names are written in the Book of Life will have a home in the New Jerusalem, within a new heaven and earth. “Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also, there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” Revelation 21:1-2

“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying,
the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ;
and He shall reign for ever and ever.
And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces,
and worshipped God, Saying, we give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and was, and art to come:
because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged,
and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints,
and them that fear thy name, small and great;
and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of his testament:
and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.”
Revelation 11:15-19
